First Responders Counseling Services Available

First responders are repeatedly exposed to other people's traumatic experiences. This can leave first responders with memories, images, sounds, and smells that linger long after the event is over.     BRAM will be hosting a Wilderness Medical Provider Course in Roanoke, VA, May 22-23, 2026. 

    Wilderness Medical Provider (WMP) is a 30-hour course designed to introduce medical providers to a broad array of topics within wilderness medicine. This program provides evidence-based knowledge and skills to treat environmental conditions and care for patients in austere environments. The course follows a hybrid model, with online modules containing videos and suggested readings. 

    The course has been approved for AMA CME Credits, WMS FAWM Credits and VA OEMS CE Credits.
